Mentor with First Gen Success

Mentors play a powerful role in shaping the future of high-achieving young women on the path to becoming the first in their families to attend and graduate from college.

As a mentor, you become more than a supporter—you become a trusted guide, encourager, and advocate.

What You Will Do

  • Meet monthly (45–60 minutes) with your assigned scholar

  • Build a supportive, encouraging relationship

  • Help scholars reflect, set goals, and apply what they’re learning

  • Engage in a structured program with guidance and resources

  • A structured mentorship experience aligned with monthly themes

  • A full programming calendar shared in advance

  • Flexible opportunities to attend events throughout the year

  • Ongoing support to guide meaningful mentor-scholar conversations
